Skyrocketing insurance costs mean that hoteliers cannot always provide healthcare benefits for all of their employees, and employees cannot always afford to pay monthly contributions for their insurance. As a result, some go without healthcare coverage. Now, through a program developed by AH&LA, we can bring our members an affordable way to help employees access the prescription drugs they need for less.
What is the Choice Rx Prescription Drug Discount Card?
The Choice Rx Prescription Drug Discount Card is a card that offers a discount averaging 10–35% on all drugs at participating pharmacies to all of your employees, whether they have no insurance coverage, are underinsured, or have health insurance.
What's the cost to me and my employees?
As an exclusive, members-only benefit, the cost to employers is only 19 cents per card and complimentary to all employees! (The cards may only be purchased in packages of 50, totaling $9.50 + shipping and handling). Cards may be ordered by FRLA or its members.
How does the card work?
Employees (or their families) simply present the card when purchasing prescription drugs to receive an on-the-spot discount. Every time they use their free Choice Rx Prescription Drug Discount Card, they save money. Employees can use it:

• If they do not have health insurance
• As an alternative to high insurance co-pays
• When insurance does not cover a particular prescription
• If their family is not covered by their insurance plan
• When they lose their medication and insurance will not pay for an immediate refill

Where is it accepted?
The Choice Card is accepted at more than 55,000 pharmacies, including Kroger, Costco, Walgreens, Long Drugs, Target, Rite-Aid, CVS/Pharmacy, and all pharmacies in grocery stores.

The Choice Rx Prescription Drug Discount Card is an exclusive benefit of membership in FRLA. To provide your employees with this valuable savings program, explore membership and join FRLA today. Once you have joined FRLA, cards, employee flyers and posters for employee bulletin boards are available at cost (just a small fee to cover printing, postage and handling). Small employers can even sign up for cards online and print them on their own color printer to save time and money.
